Hook up side

No not sex! I mean is there a set side that the trailer has that is the hook up for water and electrical? Is it the driver side or the passender side? Or is it either? Sorry I have not owned a travel trailer before and it might seem a stupid question.

The hookup side is typically opposite the door side. Although there have been strange campsites where nothing is where it's supposed to be.

But if you put your door on the passenger side, and your hookups on the drivers side, you should be in good shape most anywhere.

Typically its the Drivers Side that all of the hook ups are located on. Water, Electric, Black Water, Grey water etc.

I have a rear entry door so.... I have been planning for the connections on the driver side so it sounds like I am cool.

Almost all of the parks and campgrounds are set up with the services
( electric , water and sewer drops) on the drivers side.

I think it is so when backing in you can see the service pole and better judge the distances.

its typicaly driverside, but mostly because typical rv's have a curbside entry. astheticly no one wants to look at a cable and sewer hook up while lounging or eating lunch, so its place on the other side.
in my case i have doors on each side of the teardrop. so no one has to get climbed over for those early morning potty runs. and my power hookup is in my battery box on the tongue.
i rarely use it. but when i do i turn around and put the trailer in nose first.
nice thing about the tear being so light you can move it by hand.

I've had a rear entry camper and I've had em' on either side - but I prefer the drives side. If you do have it on the opposite side - all you need is just a little longer cord! Make sure that it fits under the camper so you don't trip over it

When i was in high school I worked at a campground that had all the hookups on the passenger side. My job for the summer was to dig trenches and move them to the drivers side. The owner was tired of RVs driving off with the water/electric hoses and cords still hooked up. his idea was that if the hookups were on drivers side the driver would see the lines in the side mirror before they drove away. I am happy to report that damage to water lines decreased to 2-3 a year after this. Prior it had been as many as 20 in a single year.

The way mine worked out my connection is on the passenger side. If the campsite has the hookup on the drivers side I will just run the power cord under the camper where it will be out of the way. The most it will cost you is 5-6 feet of powercord length (not a biggie).

Same here. It so happen that is where I was standing when I drilled the hole to make the electrical connection. O well

Yes but I will have a water hook up and would prefer to put it in the best place.

My galley 110V power box just happens to be on the right side of the galley, so it just made sense to bring the power in through that side, directly into my 110V power box. My cooler is on the other side of the galley.

If I had a water hookup I might be concerned, but where I only have electrical it was not a factor.

At the Middlefork Campground at Natural Bridge State Park KY last year, we found that the hookups for every two sites were located between the two campsites, which means that for every other site, they were on the passenger side. We needed 50 ft of cord to hook up the electric, and hooking up to the water was not possible, since we didn't have that much hose on board.

So, although hookups are generally on the driver's side, there are exceptions out there, so be prepared.
