Are you going to bring any to next weekends event?

Ok, I will get busy and make some more. Those that have said they want one I will get to you early in the week after I see how much postage is. I will be going to both the Gatherings in Minden in June and the Crossroads gathering in Indiana in July. Anyone wanting one that's going to either of these outing I will bring it and save shipping.
I can bring a few with to Cooler by the Lake also. If you have a non traditional shaped trailer and would want one, I'm sure I could help. All I would need is a scanned or snail mailed profile to follow.

Steve:

Perhaps if we can get someone to locate the post there has been one on here in the past that shows a simple line drawing of the 5 - 6 basic profiles of the tiny trailers.

Would be kinda nice to select the one close to your profile.

Anyone know where the drawing is ????

And if you had a CNC machine, you could mass produce them! Then you could sell them for a buck and export them to China!

(sorry, I can get carried away sometimes)

Well there is an update. I was going to wait a couple of days to post it, but what the heck. Today I took my idea to a buddy ( fellow woodworker) and we did some figuring. Even came up with another design. Not a trailer but camping related. He did a CAD drawing of both designs. We then went over to another shop and used their CNC to cut out a bunch from a sheet of Bamboo. Boy are they pretty. But we still have to machine a way to insert the knife. I hope by the end of the week I can have some pictures for you all to see.
(Cliffmeister) I can not compete with the Chinese but the CNC was made there so there is a connection.
The original design with the Europly will still be made. But I have to think what I can do when the cut offs are gone. Using the Bamboo offers me a green material that I can continue to get, it just costs more. So those who have expressed interest bare with me for a week or two and I will have a few things to chose from.
Again , thanks for looking, and for the encouragement.

Steve

P.S. Bob, I don't know the post you are referring to but I would love to see it if someone can find it!

What would the size be on these? And, are you going to be able to tell us how much shipping would be?

Steve...check the size on the soft padded flat rate envelopes...anywhere in the US for $4.95 priority, Envelopes are free. When I've sent stuff 3rd class to save a buck....sometimes doesn't show and is beat if it does. Doug

any other shape for individualy custom boards,, say a 32 duce coop, or sailboat. no limit to what you can do.

Good Morning,

Sandy and Wanna, Be I will PM you when I have stock and you can see the other options as well

The Other Side, the Board measures 9" long and 5 1/2" high not counting the wheel.

Doug, Great idea on the shipping. I will hit the Post Office today to see if it will fit in the shipping bag.

John, While we were working on the Cad drawing yesterday we started getting all kinds of ideas. But to keep them inexpensive we would like to try and cut one full sheet on the CNC, which would give us 40-60 pcs per sheet. But this Bamboo is even more expensive then the Europly at 180.00 per sheet. I would be happy to make single cutting boards for anyone of any pattern. All I would need is a paper pattern or email of a full scale piece to trace.

Thanks again to all!
