Most of the other stuff I cook is over the camp fire. I have a 10 inch cast Iron skillet. Breakfast, First I fry up some bacon, when its done I set it aside to drain on paper towels. Then I cut up some baked potatoes (usually cooked the night before on the camp fire) toss them in the skillet with the bacon grease till they are nice & crispy. Set the potatoes aside and scramble a bunch of eggs. Toast some bread over the fire and begin the day with a plate full of yum!
That is unless I am going fishing then breakfast is a PB&J and off we go.
Sometimes I get some nice t-bone steaks, season them up freeze them, We usually have them the 2nd night out, do the baked potatoes (extras for breakfast) go on the coals first wrapped in foil for about 45 minutes. then the steaks go on the grill with fresh corn on the cob.
Oh my I have food on the brain.
