While at the Minden, Neb. gathering last summer, I saw many teardrops with small "tent" like structures placed on one or both sides, to be used for dressing, porta potty, privacy, etc. Does anyone out there have any plans for these enclosures or know where they can be bought reasonably?

That Shadow Mountain Cabana is pretty interesting especially for $79. Just need to figure out how to seal it up against the trailer. Course it would be nice to have a trailer done to put it up against too

I think I goofed! Side tents and privacy tents are two different things..................and I linked you to privacy tents. Yes, there were some really great side tents at Minden. Don't have any links to help you there. Sorry.

I understand your need for a privy and privacy.

Here is a link to Wal-Mart’s hunting blinds. The outhouse blind was my choice for the privy. The cost is right for me and the quick fold up to a 2.5 foot round circle and storage bag at about 4LBS was the right fit for my storage. The other binds have the same compact storage.

Now in times that you may want privacy on a grand scale this unit seems to have a following. The large 10'x10' foot print and 8' height gives plenty of room and for those trips that are long in one place could provide a benefit.

There are two door zippers on this unit to give you options in positioning as seen in the two small pic’s in the link above. That way you can use it as a galley attachment or as I prefer a bedroom door attachment with the built in SUV sleeve.

These tents and blinds are my choice and with these patio mats the combination is complete as a rock free floor before getting into your tear is an obvious best practice.

We like to camp with a screen house over our picnic table. Our old screen house is worn out. We're looking at this one from PahaQue as a possible repacement. It's a little pricy. But, one of the reasons we like it is because, it has awnings on all four sides that you can roll up, use for shade or roll down for privacy.

seems to have merit if what you want is a Small 6x6x6 room for privacy. He says he cut the side panel and installed 4 snaps along the upper edge and snapped it to the trailer side. He reinforced the snaps with black duct tape so they won’t pull through. He says he attached some Velcro to the inside and hung up some light weight shower curtains for a privacy room. You could use sheets also. Of course it's on his wife's side and she likes it.

This PLAYHUT screen room isn’t water proof however the $39.00 seems reasonable and with a small tarp from harbor freight for small money could work if you live in a rain zone. http://www.ourcampsite.com/73010.html Folding up to about a 2’ circle and about 13-14 LBS is space friendly too.

I did see one here someplace... Was it in someones photo gallery that was made exactly to the profile of the teardrop....Thats what I was planning tot do but Im going to have a Clear Plastic or Urethane window
sewn into it for light as well... And possibly so it can be removed and have a mosquito screen to replace it...

We really like that idea...

Were talking about having one on both sides eventually...That will give
space for a lil cot or 2 on one side and the other for the entrance..

I think it it will work nicely.. Im going to have a photo for you of the special corner moulding that they use here to keep the side room in place
without additional screws, or added snaps...I dont know how to exlain it
but its very handy...as soon as I can get there I,ll post it...
