I just went up with the hoe to dig a hole to bury a neighbor's goat. :(

The neighbors farmer's daughter raises goats.. and a pregnant one just died...

I am sure that they appreciate the assistance.

and will head to the shop to work on some bikes...

That sounds good - you going to wear it for a day? Did you get the PCP doc?

What bike shop do you work at? My son is the bike mechanic at Germantown Cycle and enjoys what he is doing..........

Yeah.. I am to wear it for 24hours.. although I just learned they are not keen on me biking tonight.. They never said anything about that. My co-worker just had one maybe a year ago.. and he did everything..

They gave me extra stickies.. and we talked about extra tape. I have no idea what you mean by PCP doc?

I work at Mathieu's Cycle. I have been doing it for just under 30 years... and love it..

Sorry about that - I hate alphabet soup - a PCP is Primary Care Physician - and it looks like you have.... That will really help in this.

Yeah - my son loves being a bike mechanic. He talks about these bikes he puts together - $6000 + Some really nice stuff.

Stay cool today and enjoy the cooler indoors.

ahh yeah.. Primary care...

I have had, an alternative care provider. She is a former ER physician, but she really no longer wants to do any western medicine work.
Year ago I was going to the teacher of my current alternative care provider.. again a "former" Doctor. He did have me set up with a regular MD for when I need those methods. [hmm she might have been a DO I don't recall]
A few years ago I did try Doctor's again, but did not have any luck.
This new one is someone I know, and I am hopeful we can work together.

hmm bikes.. we have a fair amount of stuff out there.. in the 6 to 10 grand area.. the most expensive we have built was about 16... :o
Although it was a tandem...

I always open my driveway to teardroppers who need a place to park at night, and if at all possible, try to provide some decent vittles for them to eat. ;)

Just give me some advance warning, or you may get hot dogs -- or worse.

Get that boy back to college -- and get him some condoms. A young man with no college degree and a kid will be living in your basement for a long time, and be kicking himself for years for the mistakes he's made. I know he's an Eagle Scout, but Eagle Scouts his age have the same impulses that other young men have, and in 2011, you don't have the same margin for error that people had when we were that age.

You'll need a college degree to manage a McDonald's before long. And, building bikes a great part-time job to have while in school.

I've been busy lately, and also spending more time in the BBQ Brethren forum. I am way in the lead on a throwdown, right now. That's not normal for me. Plus, it is too &*%$# hot to go camping right now down here, so my enthusiasm for this forum is at a low. :(

I'll try harder to at least visit the dead thread this weekend.

Okay, it as hot as &&^^%% today but it was still a beautiful day to play. It was said that we had over 30,000 guests through the gates!!: and that is just our park.

Hope that everyone is taking precautions for the heat where you are.

Wow, it is only 98 at 3:15 at the doghouse. It went over 100 by 2:00 yesterday.

This could end up being the first day in July below 100. :o

The evil ones are saying it will be back up to 106 by Wednesday. :(

I broke out the EX-Up today, so I can grill tonight, and smoke a big butt tomorrow. I like big butts and and can not lie.

I have it thawing in a pot-o-water now.

I'm worried about him. He's not active here, and doesn't seem to be active on Facebook, either.
