1) no trailer
2) no hitch on tv
3) just moved from NY To VA ... so I'm still waiting on the bills from that
4) see #3... limited funds
5) 90* out...
6) SWMBC (She who Must Be Convinced) hasn't signed off on the project yet
7) enjoying everyone else's build threads, so I am stuck at the computer all day
8) Work[/list]

Postby nrody » Thu Aug 11, 2011 10:20 am

Ok you all made me feel guilty with all my excuses. I went out an put a few hours in on the "Bean". Got some more insulation done. and installed my small ventline fan.

New excuse

Postby nrody » Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:39 pm

Too sad to work on the "Bean" this weekend. Had to put the dog down. My Butch the Boxer was 12 years old and the last few months suffered with lymphoma. Miss him so much!

Sorry to hear about your dog, Nancy. :( Boxers only average 8 to 10 years of life. You did better than most with yours. Boxer dogs are known to be walking cancer factories. White Boxer dogs are sometimes a little healthier...don't know why.

As far as excuses? For me, it's usually "Gremlins" mucking things up...that and life in general.

Very sorry to hear about Butch, Nancy. Our four-footed friends always leave footprints on our hearts. I guess they want to make sure we don't forget them.

Wait until you're ready, and get another Butch. Butch would like that. He wouldn't want you to not give all of that love to another four-footed friend.

When I lost Speckles last year, I could only wait 5 days before I got another dog. No dog can replace Speckles, but Sunny Day sure has made those days and nights shorter!!!
