good morning rise and shine.. although it is still quite dark here.. :roll:

Our bike club got to host the finale of the State time trail series. We had already hosted two of the races.. and a few weeks ago we got asked if we got host the finale. It was combined with one of our clubs bbq rides.. Things went well and we had a great time.

:D

errands this morning.. then checking in on my neighbor.. he is building a bridge that I will help with. I am not sure if he will need me today or not. :thinking:

I is up up up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day is dawning - the sun is rising and we should be rain free today.

Got a email last night that my aunt (the last one) had pass. I only met her a few times but she was a person who embraced life with gusto. As we would say - "AUNT BETTY your a Hoot!" I think that is the last aunt. My father's side had 12 brothers and sisters and my mom was the same number. So that's alot of people to keep track of.

But I think there is one more uncle (Mom's side) and checking records a aunt maybe still here(Dad's side) Will need to check this out.

Well, I finally got to do some camping this past weekend in the thing I can't talk about in this thread. The weather was quite pleasant, and the food and company were awesome.

I enjoy a good plate of beans & rice. I really like black beans and rice. Makes a cheap dinner and it is very good for you - full of fiber. and it's cheap.

Like mine with plenty of onions and garlic and spice. Ferment the black beans a bit gives it a nice tangy taste.

we do it.. but dry roast the black beans first.. then good them with the brown rice.. and then grate fresh ginger root over it.. :)
