Camp Stove Score!

Postby dakotamouse » Tue Nov 22, 2011 11:46 am

Just got back from Sam's Club where I picked up a Camp Chef stove/oven for $100.01. This will be going in the vardo we will be building in the spring. I don't know if other Sam's Clubs have this but if you are looking for one it might me worth checking it out.

Where did you get it? We didn't get it, we built it!

Just make sure your safe, they vent out the back when using the oven and get pretty hot.

That is a great price. The cheapest I have seen that sell for was 179. I don't have a Sam's Club here. Good thing for me. But I have the coleman oven that folds down. Works for me.

Now I wish I'd joined Sam's over the weekend during their special offer...I cud have gotten it even cheaper!

Good find! I'm tempted...but do I really need to bake in the oven while camping?? Or should I just master the DO and be done with it? Hmmm...tempting...

A DO works just fine.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

I was in Academy Sports yesterday and they had them on "clearance" for $129. I would have picked one up, but we are trying to downsize the amount of stuff we take with us when camping.
