But...
I haven't built a new trailer for myself in 2 years and I'm gettin itchy.
People start new builds for a lot of both sane and ridiculous reasons.
Many of my projects have been started for some really weird beginnings.
i.e. WOW! I have these really Big Skates and a wrecked Sail Boat....Lets build an "Ice Boat"
Or,
I found this really neat "Fan Blade" and my old VW won't pass inspection anymore...."Lets build an "Air Boat"
Both true stories by the way.
Well now I have some windows, an Odd sized axle and 2 Junior twin Mattresses (32X72")
I have always wanted a second small trailer as I do a lot of not necessarily over night Camping trips as overnight events where I need just a place to sleep....a basic trailer.
But now with the gifted "Odd sized axle" I can build either a 54" wide cabin (the size of a conventional "Double" Mattress) with sleeping front to back and external fenders.
OR
A 6' wide "over the wheel build with the sleeping arrangement side to side. Making the front bunk a "Goucho" set up.
I have done "Over the wheel builds" before very successfully.

My decision is, 54" wide front to back sleeping conventional Tear, OR 6' wide rear entrance with a Goucho side to side sleeping and either a 32" wide single or a 60" wide open sleeping area .
Cost, towing & time are not a factor.
Happy Trails
Len
BTW, I have always liked this profile with or without the fenders.
