Was watching "The Runaways" last weekend. In the movie Joan Jett and her band of misfits used a teardrop to haul their gear around.

My Reba isn't a teardrop, but she's in a movie that went to Sundance. Movie is titled Southland of the Heart

Clip is kinda racy.

not movies, but the lousy american version of the coolest brit show ever, TOP GEAR, had the three guys driving old beat up trucks on bad trails, pulling trailers. one guy picked a TD, the other had a tent trailer, and the third was so memorable I forgot. too bad they only made fun of the TD and I don't remember them sleeping in it or the other campers. of course the guy with the TD had the easiest time making it through the trails. I spent more time grimacing when the TD bounced both wheels off the ground and the hatch started to flop, than watching the show. :embarassed:
the show is titled top gear US death valley

Just as an aside from the topic: This is the second time today that I encountered the term "Steampunk" on this forum. I've been a sci-fi and history buff my whole life, and alternative histories were always a favorite. But not until today had I heard of this name. I was an avid reader and movie-buff of sci-fi in the 50's-70's. not so much in the 80's-now, and had a collection of over 2000 books in 1982 (when stolen). I can't believe that I'd never heard this mentioned despite watching many movies in that period (I don't read much now, I fall asleep too quickly, whenever I relax). It' almost like I've been caught up in an alternative reality somewhere....
