The weight of an original Cub/Modernistic was just over 400#, so with care, building an ultralight version should get you under that by a little bit. A lot of commercially-built MC camping trailers weigh in at 500# or more, way more than I would be comfortable pulling (even if I still rode)! My bigger concern, though (after weight) is seeing around the trailer ... that's why most MC trailers are no more than 42" wide (36" is actually preferred), or their overall height is below mirror level.
