Not a problem at all Tom. Those ball mounts work to either raise or drop the ball, whichever you require. They come in different increments too :thumbsup:

Drop hitch is fine up or down
I always try to have the front of trailer slightly down from level

Hey, take what you have, flip it (you will be right) connect everything, DON'T forget to load everything too, including the tow rig. Then pull out the measuring tape if it isn't close enough, go spend some money OR don't worry, it will still follow you down the street

I'd be using the tape measure and I reckon a straight tongue is what you're gonna need.
That trailer is very low, is there any option to increase wheel size or perhaps remount the axle over the springs ?

The chains are there to keep the TD attached to the vehicle should something break. In your case, the way it is, if it came of the ball there will be lots of damage due to the drawbar and foot plate digging into the road.
Shorten those chains by hooking to the 3rd or 4th link rather than the 1st, and cross them.
