Cliff...I like the beauty ring!!

I have a friend who has an Honorbuilt 57? trailer..not quite a TTT, but close. She's looking for rims to go with baby moons...she is looking for a specific size rim to go with her trailer, but maybe she needs to check what will fit the trailer, then find rims/moons/tires?

Hubcaps and lug nuts (special nuts are required) are easily available on EBay.

[quote="cuyeda"]Where in So. Cal do you live? I discovered a little place that is local to me in Lakewood, CA that sells used wheels. It's a hole in the wall! Amazed at what he had on the racks everywhere! I wanted a vintage look, but needed a higher load rating for my trailer (truck wheels). A teardrop will be lighter so most any wheel will work. If he doesn't have it, he can make it! If you are looking for newer wheels most any wheel shop will do.

I had forgotten about Collins, even though I used to live about a mile away. I stopped by Friday afternoon and spotted some very nice 15x5's and the moon caps to go with - $40, no tires. (I posted that around here somewhere already...)

Am I the only one that only gets notified of responses the first day I post something? I keep finding my old posts have been responded to, but I don't see them until days later as I'm browsing the forum. I didn't see these latest 5 or so responses until this afternoon.

Then I went to Hubcap Mikes which is still local to me in Orange, CA for the moon caps and beauty ring.

Hey Cliff - I don't know if you remember me by name here, we met at Dwayne and Darcy's... I had forgotten about Collins Wheels, even though I used to live about a mile away. Stan,

Glad to be of help, and glad you found what you want. It feels good to post specific info, and someone actually take advantage of it. Tim at Collins still has me on a waiting list for one more Chevy truck wheel 15" x 6 lug, zero offset. I need one more for the spare.

StanDahl, or is it John

Just noticed your avatar. It reminds me of this trailer. I hope to see this trailer when the canvas cover is applied.
