Georgia teardrop builders

Postby STORMRIDER151 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 9:46 pm

Hi Folks,
After hours and hours of searching I have yet to find a supplier of aluminum or any other roofing material in the state at a reasonable price. Much of my problem is that my build is a five wide. Four foot wide material is much easier to find. I was wondering if anyone knew of a supplier in Georgia or any surrounding state that has roofing material in five foot widths at a decent price. I found a supplier that had something very nice but he's in Michigan and doesn't ship. Just a wee bit to far for a road trip. Thanks for your help. :?

Hey welcome to the forum from Jefferson way! Bob found some for his build from SAF in Atlanta. He got a 5x10 .60 for $201 and his 4x10 sheets for the sides .040 for $95. They have an on-line catalogue and you can see what they offer. Also check a company called Alumi-panel, a sign company out of cumming that sales sheets of Aluminum 4 x8 and 4x10 but only have 5' in white. Hope that helps ya! Let me know when your working on it would like to see it in person sometime, always in Griffin area visiting friends (Wisfe taught in Henry Cty for 16yrs) and working in the area.

SAF also has 5x10 in .040" ... much nicer to work with for the roof. They have a facility here in FarNorCal and I get their stuff from time-to-time ... great folks!

Good Luck, and ...

Wow that was easy! Thanks a bunch. Cliff I retired from Henry County Fire Dept in 2008 after 32 years. I may have crossed paths with your wife some time or another. We did a lot of work with schools. Again thanks everyone for the help.
