Anybody seen the Cargolite?

Postby Oldragbaggers » Sun Apr 08, 2012 9:45 pm

Just wondering if anyone else has looked at these little trailers. The one that interests me is the "Cargolite" toward the bottom. Bicycles inside, kayaks on the top and woo hoo!!

I really like these and if I was in the market to plunk down some cold hard cash for a commercial built I think I would look really hard at this one.

I looked at that trailer (online) vs. the utilitoy and decided to go with the toy. For roughly the same price, the Toy was a bigger trailer.

I had never heard of the utilitoy. That's pretty cool. What is that roof made out of? It looks so light and bright inside.

I actually encountered one at the auction of an RV dealer that went out of business, I have to say it looked very interesting and very well put together.

I have looked at the http://www.microlitetrailer.com/index.htm
at http://www.hwmotorhomes.com/2012-micro- ... mi-i327871
I will probably sell my 4x8 (acually more like 4x10) Wazat in a year or so and get the Cargolite.
I have not had any problems with my 07' in over 15,000 miles. I bought it used in 09'. Had second set of tires at 12,000.
I might go the Extreme if I have the extra cash. Can almost stand up in that one.

I notice that in the Cargolite Xtreme (a standie for us short people) that there are no cabinet doors on the overhead cabinets. I guess it would be a DIY project because I can't see anything staying put up there without doors or something. I e-mailed for more info on pricing and they were very fast in answering.
