You get a simple graphic utility like IRFANVIEW... A free graphics tool....

http://www.irfanview.com

Within irfanview, you "load" a picture and then go to "Images" in tool bar....Then select "Resize/Resample" in drowdown menu and it will open the "tools" you need... Select size you want the 'new' picture to be or put in "numbers" for custom size then save pic...

DO NOT SAVE re-sized picture over top of original pic... IF you do you will loose a lot of the origination clarity (resolution) of picture.... Away save new pic under new file name.....Irfanview also allows some cropping of pics to remove some unwanted borders or non relevant details from for graphic... Also some tools to lighten or darken pic or enhance colors....

Usually a 600x480 pixel graphic is good size for internet use.

Pretty good/simple tool for the price....

What OS do you use? Windows, Mac, other?

We can point you to a free way to do it.

Or you can let the web do it for you, upload it to Flickr or the like and it will resize the photos for you.

I use http://www.shrinkpictures.com It is free to use for one at a time picture shrinking. You can by a program that lets you do as many picks at one time as you want to. I just do one at a time. Just choose 600 pixels for the size. It works good and is easy to do. You can save the smaller pics to your computer and rename them if you would like to.

I hope this helps...

Thanks everyone for all the help! Sorry mention I have a pc, with windows vista :x

Will post some pics as soon as i can figure out how right now i am kinda stuck on the build. The plans i bought has you put lay out marks for all the spars but when i put the last mark on it was only 29 inches from the bottom of the galley so then i would have a 29 inch galley door? I dont think so! I think I can figure out where the hinge spar should go based on where the galley cabinets will go.

Clear skies, Steve W.
