How to ... save thread as pdf?

Postby Corwin C » Tue May 01, 2012 7:20 pm

I read somewhere that it is possible to save a thread as a pdf file to either print it out or save it and use when the internet is not available. Is there anyone out there who knows how this is done?

Thanks
Corwin

Download a programme like CutePDF. It installs as a printer driver. You just load the page up, print it to PDF and you have your off-line document.

Thanks ... I tried it with CutePDF and it works, but it looses all of the formatting (colors, etc.) and it has to make a separate file for each page of the thread. I was just hoping for a better way.

We'll need to ask BVE.

Currently the only way I know how is to do a bunch of screen captures. That's more work than it's worth.

Are you using a Mac? If so you can choose save as PDF in the print window.
