Hello everybody

Postby veetors » Sat Jul 21, 2012 12:08 pm

I've been browsing through this forum for a few days now as I am interested in building my own teardrop. I am really liking what I see. My only problem is that we are a family of three and I can't seem to find a teardrop build that can house me, my wife and my son. I kind of have an idea to somehow have a bunk for my son to sleep on over me and the wifey but I would like to see if someone has done that before.

Zach Engels first teardrop (and maybe his 2nd one too) had a bunk bed in it for a small child. I don't know how large your child is, but you might check out his album and it may give you an idea.

There are a few good 3 and 4 person sleepers on this site. Take a look at this design.

Starleen2's build number 6?

This is what I did was a 5x10 trailer with a loft area.

Thank you for the replies. I have some good ideas of what I am going to do. Since I am 6', my son is 5'5" and still growing, and my wife is 5'4". I am thinking of a 5x10 teardrop with a bunk that will run the length of the tear. So basically, my wife and I will be sleeping on the big mattress and my son would be on a bunk directly above me.

Thanks again
