Do I need to redo the weathstripping?

My Little Guy is a 2009 and as I was tucking it away in the garage I got to thinking about keeping it waterproof. How often should the edge molding be pulled off and redone? Should it be pulled off or is there an easier way? Also around the roof vent, which was just done last spring after I pushed it in the garage with the vent up. ooooops
He is kept om the garage so doesn't get much weather abuse.

Unless it leaks , I would leave it alone. The weatherstripping on your car lasts almost for ever.

Check and see if your vent will still open and close. If it won't act like it should, you've bent something and may need to straighten it. I did something similar and it caused a problem with that. You probably won't need to pull it off to do that.

I will respectfully disagree. Leaks are pernicious and you may well not know there is a problem until it is too late. I check periodically that I have a good seal on the roof. A resource on what and how to http://www.dicor.com
I use silicone sealants and make sure i have clean surface.
