Axel looks too far back & the tongue weight is too high as a result.
Just my thought on it.

I cant believe it is that heavy. Compass Rose is a LOT bigger and 200# more.

I was surprised by the weight too, and it doesn't seem 88" wide either.

If the fiberglass was sprayed I believe it might explain the higher weight.

It says molded. Maybe the ac adds the weight and if those bunks have metal frames could add weight too.

I have had the opportunity to tour one of the egg campers. Not the teardrop. It was very well made and had a really good layout. The owner had purchased just the shell and finished it out himself. If my car and budget could handle the weight and cost, i’d own one in a heartbeat.
Remember, the turtle won. :)
