Thunder bumpers forecast for our patch tomorrow. Expected temp around 90 degrees.
The dog will let us know when the thunderstorms are within a 100 mile. Got ears like a radar dish and goes to ground when they are within a bulls roar giving us plenty of warning.

even my wood fire in the shop stove was head ache to get lit and going seemed to be going out for some reason. slow

I lived for many years in SW Colorado with a wood stove as a sole source of heat. Was pretty good about keeping up the firewood supply all winter, but making sure there was always kindling to get the fire going was a CHORE. However, a warm house (or rather the prospect of a cold one) was great motivation to go outside and chop some wood up into little slivers.

Beautiful So Calif weather, clear blue sky, white puffy clouds, temps in the 70s, light breeze and unbelievable red sunsets. No bugs or mosquitos, about 200 ducks landing in the duck pond and Roxy, the dog checking them out.

We have a severe thunderstorm warning in place for our area.
They could break up before they get here, an hour or two away.
Shall keep my weather eye toward the NNE, see what happens. Possibly all piss and wind.

The thunderstorms died on our doorstep as they ran into the sea breeze. They were ambling toward the coast from the guts country.
More forecast today and tomorrow.
Our forecasts are very unreliable. The MK 1 eyeball gives the best results I find.

Here near Liverpool in England its been around 2*c (35.6F) during the day and upto -5*c (23F) during the night with a slight bit of fog. it's supposed to go even colder during the weekend to around -15*c.(5F)

We do everything in Celsius here,

My wife is a Gosport Gal. Nothing so flash for me , a few convicts in my ancestry from the early days of Oz.
We use Celsius in Oz as well but I convert it for the forum.
Some rumbles to the west, the dog has gone to ground !

It's 94 F here and getting hotter in the garage. I have just finished the second last weld on the trailer. I'm glad I'm not welding as a full time job. All the protective gear is unbearable in this heat. No sign of it becoming any cooler and staying cool for a couple of weeks.
