Twilight Bungalow Teardrop Trailer

Postby LDK » Sun Feb 24, 2013 9:44 pm

I just wonder what all is known about this particular camper. It looks a lot like the grasshopper but the back section is shaped a little different. The back section kinda, sorta looks like the nano weekender that Mike came up with.

Here are a few more pics and a video of the camper. With a little more info. it looks like something that could possibly be replicated. ;)

This looks like a great trailer. You will have fun with it. Thanks for sharing. I especially enjoyed the video.

Hey Larry, are you the ones that bought that trailer? Yes it is similar to a Grasshopper. It sits a little higher though. ;)

No sir Gage I stumbled across this while looking for different grasshopper-ish designs. I think my next build will be similar to this though. I really like the nano weekender design that Mike came up with but it would have to be a little bigger. :)

Yea,I bought that one.I love the thing.the only thing Ive done so far is mount a small box on the tongue for the marine battery.cleaned up the wiring and propane lines, new water inlet.and trimmed the rack down to a better size.it tows really nice, next is new bearings and bearing buddies.I like the fact that I dont have to set up a bunch of systems, the water is gravity.the electrical is always at the ready because of the solar panel, the propane is always ready to go.
