Postby KodakCastingAgency » Tue Sep 09, 2008 11:34 am

This pertains to Western NY, or anyone willing to drive to Rochester. We are looking to find a streamline or silver tear drop trailer for a one day rental, you will be paid well, for an upcoming KODAK shoot taking place in Rochester, NY the week of October 6th.

Please contact: [email protected] with pictures or any questions you might have. We'd love to feature one of your trailers in this spot which will be shown world wide!

Thanks and we look forward to seeing your trailers.

To emphasize Kodak COLOR, surely a green teardrop would be preferable.

Color shouldn't matter. Surely they know Photoshop! They can make it any color they want.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

It wouldn't be the first time someone came here looking to photograph a teardrop. Long ways back, someone had theirs put on the Ford brochures.

 MMMMMMMM
I won't send my info.
Posted from a Roadrunner acct.
A Gmail email.
Google turns up nothing
Promise of lots of money.

Seems like Kodak should be able to afford a website and mail servers.

It looks like email farming to me.

Not A Scam Guys

Postby KodakCastingAgency » Fri Sep 19, 2008 7:34 pm

So I just re-checked this and it seems like people think this might be a scam. The reason we post under a gmail account is so our real in-box doesn't get flooded and only the people who need to know our executive accounts know them.

So- on that note. If you don't want to reply with pictures. Don't. We just put the casting notice out because we need to find the appropriate teardrop for the film shoot.

A way you would find out if we were legit is that if you submit a photo we like, we will call you and offer you a day rate for it.

Yes- Kodak can afford servers, e-mail accounts, etc. However, if you know the film world, production companies are hired to produce spots. That is who we are.

Not a scam. And we will be picking our trailer by mid-next week.

My daughter in Oregon, is the one that had her Teardrop on the Ford brochure. The filming company even polished it all up for them and yes , she got paid for the use of her Teardrop.
