That really is genius! I'll certainly give it a try when it comes time.
And I'll second Andrew's suggestion to use an electric carving knife for cutting polyurethane or latex foam for upholstery. They can be found in the kitchen appliance section at Wally World for about $18, and they really do work like a hot knife through butter. A lot of beginning upholsterers use them for this purpose because they're a LOT cheaper than a foam saw ($175 and up.)
