Good morning and happy Thanksgiving. I am going to sit on my butt and let Janny do the cooking
We have alot of rain coming into Ohio today. Going to take it easy, play on the computer for a bit and then go over to Jan's family for dinner.
Hope you have a warm one with the family.

Happy Thanksgiving Slowcowboy!!

No camping for me. My two sons and I are all chipping in with the turkey dinner, so easy peasy!

I really enjoy the holidays when there isn't so much pressure to get everything done. Sharing the load makes it sooo much more enjoyable!

Coldest Thanksgiving in Minnesota for a long time, complete with snow. I think we will get in the teens today for a high.
I am off to work and my husband and son are doing turkey tv dinners with hostess fruit pies for dessert.
We actually do an inbetween Halloween and Thanksgiving family meal. Easier for the kids. I cook a stew and put it in a pumkin,, mmmm good. Bet that would be good in a dutch oven over a fire, but I don't cook when I camp.

If I were doing the cooking, I would smoke the turkey. But, it is out of my hand, so it was roasted in the oven in one of those roasting bags.

When I do the turkey, I inject the breasts with a homemade garlic and herb infused olive oil, and smoke it.
