The lovely wife and I decided The Big Pink had a little bit too much yellow on it to to be called The Big Pink. :D

Ya know everyone will always want to ask about why you call it Big Pink, It is a good hook. all of us crazie foamie people just wont let it go it will always be Big Pink to us no matter what color you paint it. Years from now someone will mention Tac and the next utterance will be "Oh yea he built the Big Pink." BUT.......I think your paint job looks great. doing it like the older one was a great idea. Looking great!!!

The wings are finished and painted.

I'm trying to figure out how to mount them....
I kinda want them to be removable, and was going to just use Velcro, but that would leave the Velcro showing when they're not installed.
and I'm afraid it might pull the canvas away from the foam after repeated use.
They're made from 1" foam (pink :) ) and are very light weight.

Any suggestions ?

Whoa !!! Those looks SUPER !!! 8) Maybe mount with a single bolt and a hard point underneath , and a locating pin and hole ... should be relatively invisible when removed... just two little holes .. Neodymium magnets would be cool , no holes, invisible ... but you probably couldn’t drive with them ... (just for Show ,like Velcro)

I'm with Glen... Rout out an area for a hard point. Rout it out first, then cut the hard point. You'll get a better fitting hard point (I learned the hard way). I would glue it in place with thickened epoxy or maybe GG or knocked down expanding foam. Make sure to coat the hard point with "the mix" or just epoxy right over it too so that water isn't an issue. Then screw it in place or as Glen suggested a locating pin and one screw. I love the graphics and the wings    Nice touch!

I've been busy piddling with The Big Pink... still working on mounting the wings and adding an air conditioner. The door I bought turned out to be smaller than the description said it was :( , so I ordered a different door. I'm building a shelf to mount the AC through the side wall. The front wall has too much curve to it. details to follow...

added some pinstripes :)

Finally finished bolting the TD to the trailer, no pictures , but I had to bolt the rear half of the trailer to the frame. The front had a coupla bolts and the dropdown floor to hold it in place, but the rear of the trailer was moving sideways about a 1/2 " total.

and I'm working on a rear bumper... found these "shock mounts" in the trash. They match up to the holes in the trailer frame perfectly. I have a piece of 2" square aluminum tubing I may use as the actual bumper, or I might make one of wood (if it doesn't look too cheesy)

Pinstripes 8) , now leave 1/4” of base color and put another pinstripe... Maybe a contrasting color ...

Warning: this decorating can get CRAZY ... :frightened: Ask me how I know ...

Like the pinstripe! Is the Big Pink not yellow anymore?? Or is that just the camera distorting the color?

Camera exposure .... you may have to adjust the color in your Photo software to be accurate ...
