New Foamie Hybrid build * Frame Finally Done! *

Chris,
Thanks for following along! Feel free to use any of the design that you'd like.

Life has gotten in the way. A two year old, and another on the way; along with a couple of build projects for friends have burned up shop time. I should have some time in the next two weeks to get back to it.

So after a 1.5 year hiatus I've finally gotten back to building this. I made some space in the shop and pulled the trailer with all the materials in out of storage. No worse for wear, I got straight to putting some of the panels into place and doing final trimming.

Next was the back wall and then the door had to be trimmed out for access. You can see just the top of the footwell in this pic prior to the cut. Also visible is one of the end frames for the kids bunks.

Also had to weld up the two rear stabilizer jacks (and still messing with placement of the spare).

More pics as they come, but feels good to be back at it!

Looking good.

I would have gone lighter on the bunk frames, but then again your needs are probably much more rugged than mine.

So now that you're back onto the project, don't stop till you're done!!!  Well actually, it seems you're never really done, but I think you know what I mean. Looks great! :applause: :applause:

Thanks! It's very good to be back to this. Now I just have to remember all the little details that we had planned!

Those frames are first build, I'm not 100% happy with them. I think I might change up the design a little (again) and build them more as a boxed cube/truss design... See how much time I've got left!
