Just curious how many neat freaks are out there.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.

As an airplane mechanic, i guess i use up all my neat freak gene on my toolbox. Everything else is a bit more haphazard. Felix and I would never get along. :D

Seems I can sometimes spend more time finding everthing I need for a project than I spend actually working on it. But then I have an outdoor shop, it's just gotta be in one of those 5 large tool boxes.........(usually)...... :)

I've finally got organized enough to quit looking for things I haven't seen in several years. Lived on a (small) sailboat for a while, it really changed my perspective of what was a necessity and what wasn't. I'm starting to accumulate "stuff" again though. Maybe there is a 12 step program for that...

Yep, everything in it's place and a place for everything, now if I only new which place was for which thing at any given time I'd be in good shape. It always seems like my tools and stuff all switch places after I turn the lights out at night and sometimes when they are feeling really frisky they even do it while I am working!! Just once I would like to catch them in the act.
That's why I voted, 'I know it's here somewhere'.

Steve That's one of the most interesting statements I have ever read, might just have to give that a try.

When I got married, my organization skills went down...
When I had kids, they went down further
When I became self employed... further yet.
When I got divorced, I entered a new dimension of kayos...
It is so bad now that I can even loose papers on my desk... Or go to a jobsite and take everything with me except what I'm supposed to be installing...
Don't believe me?
Just ask Joanie, the Teardrop Nanny, she's my saving grace...
I think she calls it ADD, I call it being spread thin at times.

I can be very disorganized sometimes. Many times when working on a job if I can't find it right away i'ts cheaper (easier) just to buy a new one.

I know this is bad but that's the way it is some times.

I try to be organized...but then sometimes it just don't work out....left the chicken, butter, beer in the fridge last time...the hooded sweatshirt in the dryer....had to buy all in Fortuna when I went to the Redwoods gathering....oh well, at least I got a new Carhartts swearshirt...live and learn....I had plenty of Granite ware however!!! My dog is absolutely worthless in reminding me to bring anything other than a tennis ball or the frisbee.... Doug

Don't mean to brag but I am VERY organized. I have everything in the same pile so I know right were it is. I can find the pile, I just can't find anything in it. I started buying those flourescent colored tools so I could find them more easily, it makes the pile much more colorful. Still can't find the tool.
