Becky, that's my preferred mode of transportation also. It's a nice park to ride in. I think you'll really enjoy it. I was there for over a week getting things ready plus working with TV station to put our movie together. The bike and the trail walking really was good exercise.

I had a really nice , relaxing couple of days before the campers started coming in.

I love it and can't wait to do it again in July.

Kurt,
How about this idea regarding the golf cart?

I'd toss in $10 if one of Todd's alter egos would use the golf cart to personally deliver some of my delicious morning coffee to a Great Lakes chapter member of my choosing. Of course, if Todd is too lazy to get his derrière out of bed early enough to accomplish that mission, Todd can be the one to toss in $10 and then I'll have someone drive me in the golf cart to his campsite so I can deliver coffee to him!!!

Karl, that sounds like a great way to start the day. There are a lot of Coffee addicts out there.

Maybe each of the chapters Directors could follow suit and find a person that needs the special surprise of a good hot cup of "morning" Coffee and the appearance of the "Master of alter egos" (Todd) to deliver it. If this doesn't wake them up...Nothing will.

I'd go for $10 to have that experience for one of my chapter members. (now to think of some unsuspecting victim) :wine:

Would this be done on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday??

Should we "clear" this Todd first??? Naaaa! It's too good to pass up.

Larry:

McCormick's Creek State Park is located in Owen County, which has been quaranteened with negative results from the emeral ash borer (per the DNR and Purdue University websites). That means the above statement does apply.

Here's a link to the information about the quarantine:

Brian : It is with deep regret I must inform you you are now located in party central. I am on 23 my buddy Jeff "scuba" is your next door neighbor on 24 and the other outcast of our posse are within a stones throw so welcome to the insanity.

And to the rest of you setting on the fence there are 5 left on the "A" side you had better get with Kurt and seal the deal (like yesterday)

Kurt has asked me to once again present the Dutch oven training seminar. I am not sure if I did that good of a job or they couldn't find another sucker but I have agreed. I chose site 23 as it is a larger corner site and near water. The presentation will be on that site. I would like the general opinion as to time and day. Friday mid day may lose out for the late arriivals but Saturday is a busy day trying to get ready for the pot luck. The last CRA we had it at about 2PM on Saturday so folks could go back and practice what they learned.

Bobhenry,
I do not own cast iron, haven't cooked with it since I was a kid with my granny's cast iron chicken skillet, and don't plan to buy any (with the possible exception of a waffle iron or corndogger). Will I still be permitted to attend the CRA??

I think you might want to prepare yourself for a conversion. Cast iron cooking is a highly contagious disease!
