Great map Scott, Thanks for pulling it all together.

After the (6) remaining sites are filled, we will begin trying to fill up Loop "B".

Here you go folks! Some photos from our hike at McCormicks Creek today. We covered 4 trails and I also got pics of a lot (sorry, didn't get 'em all!) of the campsites. I've got the campsite photos numbered according to campsite number, so have fun looking for yours!

Excellent job Pat & Jennifer. Thanks for taking so many pictures. A lot of people can see their sites and it's alway good to have a peek.

I even saw some (5) sites that don't show on the map.

I'll call the park to see if they can be rented also. Maybe we can get (120) sites reserved if they are all available.

Thanks again,

Only 4 spots left in this section better grab them quick, I've already started working on the map that includes the other section as I'm pretty sure we'll be needing it

Bob, just so we have the rules straight, the "closest" to the number wins the prize. You can be "over or under" the number, but the "closest guess wins.

And you need to be present to collect.

Don't forget---you can take another guess if you want.

The planning committee has expressed a concern that we could wind up with 120 variations of 4 cup salad for the pitch in dinner.

In the past we have tried to vary the menu a bit by listing who is bringing what.................

However this could easily become a logistics nightmare with a gathering of this size.

I did some quick math based on Kurts targets of 55 entrees 35 salads and 26 desserts and came to a rather neat idea.

If all the even numbered sites brought a main entree and we have 115 attendees thats 57+ entrees

if the odd folk divided up and the odd sites divisible by "3" brought dessert thats 19 and the other odd sites ( not divisable by 3) did the salad type offerings (38)we are almose exactly on target.

If ya have your heart set on that one thing oh well! But we are trying real hard to make this the absolute best gathering ever and I hope my silly idea may help.

I only offer this as an idea and to get feedback from all of you! SO PLEEEEZZEE let the committee know your thoughts

Bob, that's not a bad idea. Unless someone wants to bring "that special thing".

Another idea is to have people sign up for "Entree, Salad, or Dessert". When the list is "full" (ie. 55 Entrees) then the salads and dessert list can be applied for.
This could be "first come" basis.

Something to think about.
