I'm so ready, too!! I know Sunny Day is, also.

And, by the way, no matter how hungry Sunny Day's eyes look, no matter how long she looks lovingly at your food, she is really a well-fed 12 lb Shih Tzu. She really and truly doesn't need any people food  I'd love to leave the CRA with a 12 lb Shih Tzu....she'll forgive you if you don't feed her

Of course, her mom and :wine: is a totally different story 8)

Well guys don't feel alone! I have to gut the micro kitchen out of the barn and redesign for my dorn style fridge.

Yep goin' over to the teckie side. I can save the cost of the little fridge ( $24.00 ) in the ice cost in the 3 days of the gathering.

Gonna go to the big shop and drag "Barn to be wild" home for some modification and to start getting organized and loaded.

Yep We're getting anxious too !

One more attraction for the gathering:
In addition to the "silent auction" there will be:

What: Oral Auction
When: 3:00pm Saturday (July 27)
Where : Site to be determined

Any donations for the Oral (or silent) auction should be posted here.

Several items have been selected for the oral auction and I'm sure the bidders will be pleased.

We will need several more items to be auctioned so please post any itmes you can bring.

We also need an "Auctioneer" to do the oral auction.

Please let us know if you (or anyone) can do us the honors of being our auctioneer.

More details will be posted soon.

I also just learned that site #7 is available due to mechanical problems.

You can contact Randy & Martha Gilbert (email) [email protected]

for details.

Another site in the heart of the gathering.

That would be great. Please bring what you can.

Anyone else who can bring a Teardrop or Camping Donation item to the auction?

We'll need several more items.

So far I have received $140 from the breakfast goers.

This represents 28 people who intend to buy a breakfast at the CRA.

Please , if you wish to buy breakfast (either by check or "at the door") please let us know.

We want to be able to feed everyone who wants a breakfast and by knowing the head count, we can get the correct amount of food.

Post on this thread so we can get you on the list.

Thanks

Time to name the "Tiki Doll". Several names have been entered for the name but we need more.

Name entries
#1 " Waimaka Helelei " The Stewarts
#2 "Pohihihi Kaikamahine" - Kay C.
#3 "Tiki Tear Bob" - Rich U.
#4 "Ku", the "Seizer of Land" - Kurt
#5 "TearMahi JerkerMoHo" - Rob C.
#6 "Queen Campkiki" - Scott S.

Don't forget, the winner gets $25 for the most popular name.

"Tiki Doll hunt". The doll will be hidden (2) times each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and once on Sunday.

If you return the Tiki Doll to it's home (at Site #47), you will receive a $25 prize. (one prize per camp site)

Judging for the name will be done on the forum starting July 10. The winner will be announced at the CRA on Saturday evening.

My husband and I live in Northern Illinois. We have been investigating teardrops and we have decided to try to build one. Is the gathering open to visitors? I thought it might be good to see a variety of tears as we begin our planning.
