Hello everyone, As we look forward to our annual Tearup at Fish Creek and seeing all of you and also meeting new friends, Becky and I thought this year we could do something special as a group. We would like some of your thoughts on doing a food drive for the local food pantry in Lake Placid. We talked to Linda Young from The Ecumenical Charity Program(a non profit org), she oversees the food pantry. They cover the entire area up there, not just Lake Placid. There is a strong need for their support in the community. We could do a " Fill The Pickup ". It's only a Ford Ranger so it shouldn't take too much to fill it. We all carry non perishable goods with us when we camp so a couple of extras won't take up too much room. This would be giving back a little to the area that we enjoy so much.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in June!
