Leslie not only makes dulcimers, he plays them as well. He also makes and plays an instrument called an Psaltry. I hope he brings them with him. We enjoyed listening to him playing the dulcimer and the Psaltry.

I beleive this is him. Very nice family.
I have him on the Map. and made other updates.

the psaltry, too? this is great! we're longing to hear some music. wish robert hadn't given away my beautiful hammered dulcimer. but it has a good home.

I going to bring my Fiddle .....oh....ah.... Violin ( maybe I can learn how to play it - or somebody can show me ). It sounds like fun. I hope Buck will excuse me for misplacing his card and information. He is a great instrument maker and historian. I'm not sure if he has a site he is camping at. I sure hope it is close.

SO TRYING TO GO!!!!!!!

So till 4 days ago i had plans in the works to make it to the gathering. SO STOKED ABOUT GOING TOO!!!! but then it happens.... the VW gods looked DOWN on me and blessed me with a car problem. i hit a hole in a crazy rain storm and now my VW is giving me warnings for things that are working just fine. SOoo now i just need to cough up $110 just to have VW look at the car. then cut off my arms in trade of repair. And THEN.. MAYBE... ill be able to save some more money for the gathering. Cross your fingers for me! :cry:
