Hey Everyone...
First let me say that I love this site! I actually ran into someone at the local state park who had used this site to build HIS teardrop!! So neat to run into other people who actually found the same place to look for help building their camper!
With that said, I am about to start building my teardrop/benroy camper and would like to get advice on the platform sizes.
I bought a HBF 4x8 utility trailer. Ive bought 3 sheets of marine grade plywood for the floor. I also bought SEVERAL different plans from the internet. The more I research, the more confused I get! haha...
I want to get this done as fast as I can so my kids and I can spend the night in it before the end of summer. Im torn as to whether I want to just build a 4x8 or try a 5x10! I LOVE the idea of a 5X10, but wonder if I would have to move the axle and how much more trouble it would be...
Can anyone please give me some idea...Im going to bolt my trailer together tonight/tomorrow and hopefully start on the flooring this weekend.
My first and most urgent question is:
WHAT SIZE CAMPER SHOULD I BUILD!?!?!
(4x8 or 5x10 - is it any harder to build the 5x10 than the 4x8 or is it just a matter of measuring differently. Im probably going to use the Ty Dean plans.)
