I like using Coleman fuel, not that I'm biased or anything. ;)

My vote "classic Coleman Fuel" 3 main reasons 1. All my stoves & lanterns are 30+ years old and work great. 2. I have some even older coleman gear that I used camping with my dad & grand pa, and I can walk into the Coleman store here in Wichita and any part I need. 3. "Classic Fuel" gear is available dirt cheep at garage & estate sales.

I just went out and bought a propane stove a couple years ago, which unfortunately was before I got onto this site. I had a three burner coleman stove with the red tank and had it for quite a few years. I don't think the third burner really worked all that well but it did come in handy now and again. If I knew how much people loved these stoves I probably would have hung onto it and rebuilt it. So why did I switch to propane? Just a matter of convenience, although I'm beginning to hate all of those little green cans. Just seems wasteful to me. I'll have the big propane cylinder on the TTT. I still have a white gas (coleman) lantern that I've had for about 20 years now and don't plan on replacing it any time soon. I think if I had to do it all over again, I'd stay with the coleman fuel stove too.

And if you do it just right you will stand up and run around beating the fire out of half your beard.
