Yesterday I got less than an inch of snow, much less. And now it is raining on it.

Not that I am complaining to much other than we do need the moisture

My neighbors came along on their Bobcats and plowed my road open! I will soon venture out to buy chocolate chips to make them cookies. It was a wonderful thing they did. I have been using a snow scoop for 2 or 3 hours to keep the road open, but yesteday's dump would have made that a very hard thing to do.

It sounded like the county grader was working on the main road.

We have had a steady rain and the snow is slowly turning to slush. We have not had the Seattle freezing rain here. I hope we don't.

I'm down the road in Portland, OR. My wife had a couple of snow days on Tue and Wed this week. By this morning, the rain and 50-degree wind came back to bring the rain.

Hope you guys in WA can dig out soon.
