I am a fan of the National Parks...they are located in some of the most beautiful parts of the United States. I think the admission fees are reasonable when you consider all there is to see and do. Maybe some of the parks are very crowded but the ones I have been to didn't seem crowded, probably because they are so big. I was in Yellowstone three years ago during the busiest time of year, and with the exception of Old Faithful and other big attractions, I felt pretty much alone. When it comes to camping, NFS or BLM land cannot be beat for those of us who don't need or want all the hookups.
