I parked the Shrunk-bunk in the shop. Still trying to figure out how to keep the plywood sides from rubbing against the inside of the tires. Not a big deal, but I think it rubs when I hit a bump. Next step, find out where it binds when I try to lower it for haulng down the interstate. Oh well, still some kinks to iron out, but all in all, since I made the fold-down cabinets shallower, I now have breathing room above my face, when I am in bed. At the Dam, I had 4 inches, and that is too close to try to read anything prior to sleeping.
:) 8) Roly, with other designs bouncing through my head like sugar plums, Oh the plague I have created.

the galley will be done in Vinyl and Formica.

2 steps forward ... 1.5 steps back....Gaining a little, but major set-backs at every turn. Cut spaces for windows...a gain...added toolbox and bracing to tongue...a gain...learned that my A/C ducting is insufficient (have to add an in-line duct fan)...a loss...while putting on the bracing to the tongue, I had my tape measure under with me so I measured the axle size (I thought I had already done this 20 months ago), it's only 1.25" cambered square tube not 1.5" as I thought...a loss. I can fix the A/C problem, but with the estimated running weight of the loaded trailer approaching 1400 lbs, even with the upsized spring hangers, axle stubs, bearings, wheels and tires already done...I fear that I'll have to go bigger. Or reinforce. More weight.

Built a fender! I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but I think it looks good! I had to mount with a couple screws temporarily so I could see em what it looked like. Still need no trim It and route the edges.

What is green and fuzzy, Mold! Had a water leak that I did not catch and it got some of the wood in the galley wet and :?
This was a couple of weeks ago, I cleaned it and used CPES. The wood work had a minimal finish, certainly not water resistant.
Also finished the new cord/seven blade which I was working on when I had the heart attack six weeks ago, (I am doing very well).
Finished the install of the Progressive Industries EMS.
New SKF wheel bearings and Amsoil synthetic grease for the Dexter axle.

Sorry about your mold, Shadowcatcher, but it sounds like you caught it and got it handled before it did any real damage. So glad you are feeling better and back to doing the things you enjoy.

Today, come hell or high water, by the end of this day my hatch will be hanging. Hope to also get the rail and leg on my extension table and get the prop poles put together and in place. Beyond that, we'll see.

So last fall we were out at a friends farm and i noticed some old commercial awnings, and they were the same fabric as my awning! Seems he only wanted the framework, and was happy to get rid of the fabric. It was torn and worn in a few places, but not faded at all. Sumbrella wears like iron. So i cut it off, patched it ,and turned part of it into a tablecloth yesterday and today i made one wall for the easy up. There isn't enough for another full wall, enough for a half a front wall, and we will make do with a tarp for the other wall when needed. So now, after @8 hours work and @20buck for the vinyl window and re-waterrepealant spray, we are set for wet or windy teardrop weather in style!

Got one window in yesterday...had trouble with the OSI Quad squeezing out onto the interior window metal (not easy to remove, unless you have paint thinner ready). Installing the wood trim (to cover the oversized hole and inletting I boogered) around the inside window frame was a bear, cut once twice thrice.... Oh well, the black trim matches other black trim, and my errors become lost in their midst, I hope. Only did one side, since I hope that I can do the second faster and better. ? about the screw covers...is there a trick to get them to stay in the channel? Or since I am going to cover the screw heads with sealant, I may just fill in and smooth and paint the channel anyway. No pictures, my digital camera needs a battery, and my wife has hidden her really expensive cameras from me. Maybe tomorrow.update Finished the other side today...went much smoother, used adhesive in better placement (less cleanup). Digital camera still out, cellphone photos: 107292107294

Sandi just cleaned out Miss Piggy from our last camping outing last weekend, where we experienced "record rainfall" on the first night there. We learned how to put up the new ezee-up in the dark and in a down pour!
Found the areas that leaked and have plans to seal them.
Still no headliner. :(
Busy on customers cars! Don't know how I thought I was retired?????
