Need a part for my Coleman stove

Postby CAJUN LADY » Mon May 07, 2012 7:34 pm

I've got a Coleman propane camp stove, model 5430C and I've lost the regulator assembly. Before I order a brand new one for $18.00 ( plus shipping), does anyone have an extra one they are saving for parts and might want to sell it?

Cliff, you picked up a Coleman regulator assy? Was it generic brand or Coleman? I hate to pay almost $23 for one part when I could buy a new stove for $40 (not a Coleman). Do you mind if I ask what it cost?

It was Coleman brand regulator and I think it was 16. I can run by the Coleman outlet down the road Thursday and see how much they have it for.

no problem Becca and just as an FYI not all Walmarts are the same! I've found that the rural small town walmart 15 miles up the road in Commerce, GA has more camping items and parts than the edge of Atlanta one @ Hamilton Mill thats 17 miles from me the other way.

Becca, if your local Walmart doesn't have it in stock you can order it online from them and if you have them deliver it to your local store for pickup there will not be a shipping charge.

Thanks Cliff and Becky! There are 4 Wal Marts in my town, 2 of them are 'super' WM's and have lots of camping items. I'm going look online now but will be making some WM stops on the way home. I'll let y'all know the outcome.

**Just checked online at Wal Mart and they don't list that part. I'm going check at the 2 super WM's today**

There is one in Lake George NY also. I got an anniversary lantern there last year for 1/2 price because it was missing the fuel cap and bail. Not a bad deal for $38.00 brand new!!!!

Kirk I think they have 7 of them and we have been to 2 of them, my local oneis in Commerce, Ga (Lodge outlet on other side of hwy) and one in Seiverville, TN!
Becca i hope you can find one if not let me know and I will dig around in the garage and see if I can scare one up.

Strike two on other super WM. But, I heading to the smaller WM where I often find more camping goodies than at the super WM's.

Cliff, you lucky dog! You live so close to two great outlets! When I go visit Louisiana, I always drop by the Cabela's in Gonzales. I love that place!

I have been to the one in Seiverville, TN I bought a 12 volt cooler/hearter unit about 10 15 years ago
it had a scratch on the top where someone cut it opening the box
the salesman had to point it out to me it was so slight
I also got the ac adapter it has been with us from coast to coast and border to border
we're taking it to Baltimore next week.
