I dont post much on the boards but read them a ton. Seems like the boards have slowed to a crawl on here as of late. I really hope facebook or other sites dont steal the thunder of this great site!!! Great topics, friends, pictures, gatherings, point you in the right way when you need it etc... But maybe im over thinking it is camping time so everyone hurry back and bring lots of Joe

well i'm hold up in Texas for right now and i've been on every day reading most of the time but if i got a word or two i'll chime in

I have just plain been busy. Work has picked up for me. That is good. I have put hundreds of hours into the tear getting ready for the IRG and I still am not ready. And I started a full renovation of the bathroom taking the tile in the tub surround down to the studs and the floor tile has been removed too. Now we are putting it all together again and that is my IRG money ., Not to mention taking my grandson to Tae Kwon Do three times a week (he just got his black belt yesterday-woo hoo). Barely have time to do laundry

No face book for me. I tried it and it just wasn't me. So I left. Nor Google Plus any of those other things. Twiter et all. I have found my level of tech comfort right here. I don't even like cell phones all that much. When I do have one I use it mostly for business or emergency, not idle chit chat.

I would like to be building a new TD but as right now I am not working, had better watch my money.

Lots of people are out camping or building while the weather's nice. I've been too busy building to do any camping yet.. that's all changing next weekend though!

I think alot of people post when they are during a build and then post less as they are out enjoying their build. that is how it owrked for me. Wheneven I am posting with ideas or a question, I envariably get caught up is all the other threads going on.

I am also super busy moving too.

I don't post too much here anymore. I "finished" my Widget about 2 years ago and haven't built anything since. We started working on our house so that takes up all the build money. Plus, I've been dabbling in some other hobbies that I've never had time to pursue. I also fell prey to Facebook a couple of years ago........ I'm pretty much a junkie now!!!!!

It seems that every time I start on "electrifying" my Little Guy, Escaped2, someone in my family has an emergency and guess who they call?????.......all I've gotten done is to put blue tape on the outside that is defining the limits of where I can put the holes. (Actually, I don't mind helping......it's just that I'm not getting my stuff done.)

I also started a new part-time job this week. I'm now driving Seniors to Dr's appts, dialysis, shopping, etc. This is fun--truly fun!! So, I now only get one day off during the week AND I'M NOT TELLING MY FAMILY WHICH DAY IT IS (It's on Thursday's , but don't tell them!!).

So, I'll be posting more as I electrify it, and then I can finally camp in it.

Like Thomas and Jeff said once your build is complete you tend to post less.
I've never built but I really enjoy the post here if you have ever looked at the membership list
there have been scores of people who have been here and and are now gone on to other things
thank goodness for the old timers who have stuck around

I ask my boss one day how the local high school football team was doing he said he didn't follow
them much since his son no longer played so posting here is pretty much like that too.
