BOLOGNA

Postby pete42 » Thu Dec 13, 2012 12:11 pm

If you ever want to make a fat boy feel good do what I did
I just finished fixing a fried bologna sandwich couple slices of toast some sweet mustard a couple dill pickles.
and a cold beverage in this case a diet pepsi I am one happy fatboy....... :Flippin Burger:

while I don't usualy eat many sandwichs a good ol' fried bologna sandwich sounded good.
I made ribs last saturday in the slow cooker with sweet baby ray's BBQ sause yummy
I went to the fridge today thinking I would broil some fish when I saw the bologna
that's all it took.

Now I'm waiting for my ride to show up so I can go get my GF's car it's been in the shop
almost two weeks she had it start and stop on her couple times once in a drive thru
but it's been two weeks and they can't get it to not start.

trying to be a good boyfriend I bought her a membership in AAA today
boy have they changed but at least now if she has trouble she won't be stranded
and I can count it toward a Christmas present.

what if anything do you crave every once in a while?

I am one of those FREAKS that like miracle whip, just every once in a while. Not all the time. Mary wont let it in the house, much like my Coleman lanterns. Consequently I dont get it very often. like never. When I am at other peoples houses I like to peek in the refrigerator to see if I can spot the MW.

So if I am ever at your house and you catch me lurking in your fridge you have nothing to fear, just checking for signs of the MW.

Now if there is fresh bread and turkey in the fridge too, well then you might just catch me eating a turkey and MW. I think I got dropped when I was a baby.

I too served in the Navy back in the 60's lunch meat was served every so often and yes we too called it something else.

altho I am one who liked chipped beef on toast or hamburger and some kind of red sauce also served on toast.

both of which we called colorful names.

 I can feel the heartburn already.

My dad loved bologna. He ate two bologna and mustard sandwiches for lunch, Monday through Friday, for nearly all his working life. I can't even look at the stuff without feeling ill.

But I do something quite often, for breakfast, that some people might think strange: Tapioca bread, toasted, with Hellmans/BestFoods Real Mayonnaise and Kraft's nonfat swiss cheese. My stomach thanks me. :D
