If you can afford them and they would work, I say "Why Not" . My only concern would be, can you fill the wheel well with the trailer tire? That looks like a pretty beefy size tire and the fender will look silly if it is not the right scale.

You could narrow them if needed so the tyres look ok - however that may be a lot of work/detract from the 'bargain' price if you have to do a lot of work. If you need to narrow them could you take a partial splash off yours, or speak with the manufacturer who may have some damaged parts or produce a partial part for you for a better price?

The tyres on tango are 195/45/15 and the chassis is running standard caravan wheels rather than trailer wheels not sure of the size but they arent tiny ones.

My first thought is to wonder what they would look like switched so they are backwards on the tear from the car. From what I can see, it would accentuate your tear's profile more closely. Are the tail lights in the fender? I looked, but couldn't find a view of the back of your TV in your galley.

If you have matching fenders, you'll want to make sure that you can get rims and tires that match to complete the illusion. It may end up costing quite a bit more than just the cost of the fenders.

I wanted to get matching wheels unfortunately this particular style is now obsolete so will have to either get some clearance ones or second hand.

Yes the lights are mounted in the Wheel arches (fenders) Photo below. They were expensive too as they are LED mix and match ones. Not sure we would comply with the lighting regs in UK if we put the lights in the fenders in terms of visibilty angles as the fenders sit well forward of the back of the rear of the tear.

The upper set is the stop tail with indicator inner and the lower ones are reverse inner with reflector outer and fog light inner on the other side.

It's entirely up to you, just throwing out ideas. If it was mine, I would consider running that fender "backwards" possibly with the lights "frenched" into the tapered side of the fender, or even moving the lights to the hatch and leaving the fender pristine. Now that I look at the back, the fender may be a little more angular than I originally thought and it may not compliment your teardrop profile as much as I originally thought. It may work, it may not ... again, it's all up to you.
