Seems like some people have more time for the forum than others, some may read more threads than join them, some don't join in if they judge their input may not be pertinent or needed, some may just throw in their opinions just to join the fun. I have been all of these at times; I read everything and join in as I feel like, or feel if there might be some interest in what has happened in my build (mostly...don't do it this way). When I couldn't design, build, or contribute to someone else's builds, I try to just take in the conversations going on (although some threads have gone on for thousands of posts, are mainly one or two persons' conversations, and are completely lost to the majority of us readers...). I like to read some of the technical discussions, in hope that someday I might be able to use the info, and/or contribute some esoteric info to: ''solar" or "Wi-Fi in camp" or "Coleman restoration / frankenlantern" types of threads. And I try not to interject any of my sarcasm into a thread, or even my posts, that may offend someone, if they seem to be mis-guided or just clueless. I did that once, on another forum, and I found out that some people can't take a joke/think that they know it all/are just not worth even apologizing to (pick one, two, or all). If, somehow, I end up on someone's "foes" list, I think that it's their loss-not mine. I've just reviewed the # of postings per day by the people above me in this thread:one has 4 a day, another .04. That doesn't count for anything if one doesn't get something out of the practice. This forum, like others, is what you make of it, and may or may not please you all the time, but it keeps me coming back every day (I get something from it each time!). Just my $.02
