Was that you?

Postby GuitarPhotog » Mon Sep 23, 2013 12:00 pm

Eastbound on I-80 near Davis, Ca. on Sunday Sept 22 about 2:30PM towing your Lil Guy?

It was the only teardrop I saw on this weekend's trip to Lake Francis near Dobbins CA. for a beer festival.

it wasn't me, I was at the Falling Tears gathering in Reno, NV. it may have been someone headed back from there. Tell me about that beer festival... Is it an annual event? Room for teardrop camping????

The beer festival is the Northern California Homebrewer's Festival, held at the Lake Francis RV Resort in Dobbins CA every year in mid-Sept. It is not a public event, you must be a member of a recognized homebrew club in Calif, Ore, or Nev to attend.

There was plenty of room for my teardrop, even though the event is very crowded, with over 500 registered attendees this year. We did however have 4 "groups" totaling 10 people, 5 tents, and a teardrop in two adjoining camp sites. There were about 40 clubs serving ~200 different homebrewed beers.

The event sells out in minutes every year, in July when tickets go on sale. More info here: www.nchfinfo.org

Thanks, that may be the incentive I need to join the homebrewers club here in Reno. sounds like a great time!

Belonging to a homebrew club has lots of benefits, NCHF is just one of them. My brewing improved enormously when I joined my club, the Draught Board.

Take care, brew hard
