Just kidding! I have the side profiles cut out and sanded. Tomorrow I will be cutting out the doors. I am a little nervous about this... Is it better to use a Skill saw with a plunge cut then switch to a Jigsaw or should I try to borrow a plunge router Anyway, if I am successful with the doors I should be able to get the sides mounted and supported.

Go with the router. You'll get a much better result.

Ahhh a man after my own way,,,,the cut twice program has worked out for me in my building,,look on the bright side ,,it does give you a lot more new design possibilities,,,but I lost a lot of hair scratching my head wondering how in the hairy I am gonna make this thing fit and work,,

I used a circular saw on the doors, and a jig saw on the rounded corners. It works, but a router with a template would work far better. Go to Steve Fredricks page for cutting with a router...

One thing my dad has branded into my minde is measure twice cut once! I am 15 and work with wood like it is worth its wheight in gold. I dont like to mess up. I would use the router. bye

My 5 x 10 sheets of plywood was $112 each! It is GOLD! I am from IL to. Where are you from?

I am from centrale illinois. A small town of 4400 called Auburn. And where in the world did you finde 5x10 plywood?????? I could only finde 4x10 and at the cost of $200 a sheet. If you could tell me where you got that it would be soooooo apreciated. I would like to see your tear and give you a hand if you need it. bye

I am in Everett, Washington. I ordered it through a company called Midway Plywood. In Mukilteo, WA. They ordered it from Portland! I am originally from Taylorville! I was born in Springfield.

I have been to taylorville many times, we baught another mansion there to restore after its burning but on my homecoming night we had a bad storm that caught are first mansion on fire. Sad to say we had to drop the taylorville mansion to redo are first. Do you remember a large brick mansion on I-55 going tords Carlinville? That is ares. bye
