Well, after reading this string I couldn't help but laugh a lot.
Where do you find the room for a porta potty and shower stall in a 4x8 or even a 5x10 TD? As I stated before in other places, I've been doing this since "03" so let me share with yall what my porta potty consists of.
My urnal is a 20oz. vitamine water bottle which can be dumped anywhere and clean-up is simple and easy. And for those times where I've decided to just pull off to the side of the road and catch up on sleep and wake up with that not so great feeling in my belly, a bed pan works great. Just be sure to have a good supply of 8gal. plastic trash bags at all times. Rest stops are another good place to stop and sleep and they all have restrooms. Picnic areas don't, Tx, AZ, Nv, but you can spend the night in these places.
Most state parks do have showers and flush toilets and you don't have to be camped there to use them. I've been to some in Navada where they had vault toilets so another essencial to keep on hand is Lysol disinfectant spray and a can of general purpose bug spray.
Most truck stops these days have private shower rooms that, for a reasonable fee, you can use. Also, the ones I've been to, their bathrooms are kept very clean.
Boondocking is a different story. Coleman makes a great little shower stall, got one, made of tent material, but the same supplies apply. Less weight is a good thing.
