So I am nearing the end of my project and today I pushed the teardrop out into the sun and I noticed that one side of my aluminum has started to "warbl" in the hot sun. I used staples along the edges and I used lifetime caulk around the edges and in the larger areas to help hold it to the plywood when I built the trailer. The last 1/3 of the aluminum on 1 side seems to be warping in the sun. What the heck should I do?!!!! removing the staples is really not an option. I noticed this evening when things cooled down that it was fine, but in the hot sun it warps, will this cause any damage? Has anyone else had this problem? I was thinking maybe of running some waist trim or simply some screws into the aluminum to keep it from warping and bubbling out.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
