Does anyone know if plain old wood glue will bond rigid pink insul to plywood, specifically if it is full coverage (spread with a roller).....

I plan on using hollow core design on the floor with same thickness foam in the spaces... the strength would be greatly increased if the foam becomes part of the structure, not just a filler material.....

Arne I'm not sure if plain wood glue will bond foam, but Gorilla glue will. They also make construction adhesive for foam. This is from the Lowes web site about gorilla glue:

I used a generic type of gorilla glue during my build. I did this during my wall and roof construction. I wanted a "laminated wall". I also felt it would greatly increase the strength. Gorilla glue does expand but I like that feature! It fills any voids that may be present.

Hey Guys,

I am ready to install insulation on the bottom of my subfloor. What type would be best to use? The Pink Foam Board or the White EPS? Would be best to install it be spray adhesive and screws with fender washers?

I used blue foam board installed with screws and fender washers. The plywood was painted with asphault before installing foam.
