Look's like it's coming along nicely. I can't wait to see it skinned.

Before you skin the outside, you may want to skin the inside, cut you electrical switches, etc out, run/secure the wires, and insulate. Then enclose it all from the outside. Being that big of a trailer with limited width, you would probably have a slight problem getting material through the doors or windows to finish the inside.

Jaguar,
I thought about doing it in that order but under my carport isnt the dryest place in town, so I have to put the skin on and dry it in some what before I can start on the inside. I can bring all the material in from the back. As a matter of fact I'm not putting the floor in until I get it skinned.

Thanks, Big De

Of course the doors will be a problem, but you have the skills to overcome! Looking very nice.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Great looking Camper
You're building just what I had in mind except I plan to go 6'6" x12 and 5' high. What size tubing do you have in the walls 1"??? How did you connect the metal siding , with screws or rivits?? And one last question, is that steel or aluminuim sheet metal? Please keep the pics and info on your build coming. :applause: :applause:

Love the Impala taillights. Have a pair myself but haven't used them.

MP,
Im using 1x1 thin wall tube and I went an bought a tube of automotive glue that was rather expensive $35.00 and it has a self mixing tip on it. Well I couldnt squeeze hard enough to make that glue come out with any consistancy. So I went and bought several tubes of construction grade liquid nail  and it is holding it so far but I havnt put many miles on it, so if anyone is driving around south east texas and you see some blue sheet metal pick it up for me I will pay for shipping lol
