Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

I just screwed some leftover pressure treated to the bottom of the jacks since the holes were already drilled in the plate.

I mounted mine on a 45 degree angle to the back and sides of the trailer, so when they are folded up they are not as visible.

I have them but don't use them either. The tongue jack is garbage it has lots of slop. So I leave it hooked to the vehicle then put the tongue jack down to minimize the movement.

I don't plan on always camping in my garage or on nicely leveled RV pads in RV parks. So I want a way to level and stabilize the trailer on uneven ground.

I just use regular car jackstands. They have a big footprint (no wobble) and are cheap. Might not look the best but I like em'!! Can also come in handy if the vehicle breaks down.

I've considered using the jacks that Darren mentioned from NT, having had that type on a Coleman popup. I am also considering the screw post type that Kevin showed. With those, I'd just lower the front past level, put two jacks under the back corners, raise the front just above level, put two under the front two corners, and lower back to level. And, they are cheap. Around $30 for a set of 4 at Wally World.

Kinda Like Warpony said, I use a Floor Jack. for a couple of reasons , one it's easy to get under the Teardrop when the ground is damp without getting on the ground., and with the Tongue jack and the floor jack on the low side at the Axle I can level her right up. AND.... I also have that same jack in case I need to jack up the Truck. ...... AND, my Truck and Teardrop both have the same Wheel Bolt Patterns, So..... I can use same spare tire.

The problem may not be the jack(s) when it comes to stability, it may be how you "setup" trailer on jacks....

Process I have uses over the years is to disconnect trailer from tow vehicle, lower front tongue jack to below level for trailer, put rear stabilizers in place and then bringing tongue back up to level... This unloads springs a bit and trailer sits on three solid points.... Thus being more stable... To pack up and get ready to leave, I lower tongue jack, take pressure off rear stabilizers and the fold them up, raise tongue with jack and connect to tow vehicle....
I also carry a few wood blocks for "pads" so jacks do not sink into ground and help level trailer if ground is really uneven...

Plus its a faster setup and take down then futzing with individual jacks (against the trailer weight) to level and setup or take down...
